I am Dave and new to snakes, I am due to pick up two babies at weekend and cant wait!!
Quick question(s), I have been told that the exo terra large flat faunarium(alternatives appreciated) will be ample for 6 months (one for each royal) however do I need to get two heat mats or can I get a larger one which both will fit on? Can I plug two mats into one habistat pulse stat?
Cheers and Thanks |

Posted - 24/07/2012 : 23:20:44 Hello and welcome exo terra faunariums are not bad,you will have to drill/make your own hole. The side air vents i found aren't very strong
You can by using an adapter, then plug the adapter into where you would plug the one mat. Then plug both mats into the adapter.only the mat with the probe will have its temperature measured by the stat turning the mat on and off.The other mat will switch on and off at the same time as the first, however the temperature can be different. So you would have to keep an eye on the viv without the probe,to make sure its holding temp to. |
