Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hi. Just got my first Royal a week ago (a female butter, currently 108g). Have left her alone.... she's spent most of the time in her hide, under the kitchen towel lining her RUB!

I just tried to feed her for the first time, and she ignored the mouse fuzzy. However, her eyes are starting to look opaque, so we think she may be starting her second shed (first since we had her). Any hints or tips? Your expertise would be much appreciated!! Thanks, Andrew

Hi and welcome

As above really, I'm not for for spraying or adding moist hide but it seems to work for quite a few on here, so no harm in trying that

Hi and welcome.
Can't help much I'm afraid because I'm new to to Royals but if they're anything like cornsnakes while she's blue she might not want to feed and it won't hurt to leave her until she's shed.
Again, if Royals are anything like cornsnakes then a moist hide and moving water bowl to the warm side might help with an easy shed.
I'm sure somebody who knows more will be along soon....
