Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and new to Royal's. I haven't got one yet as I need to get around the small issue of my Girlfriend being petrified of snakes :/
Just having a read of as many care sheets to get as much research done as possible.

I had the same issue with my boyfriend, but as soon as he met my snake he fell in love with it. Get her to go with you to the pet shop for something non-snake-based, and then when you are there get a ball python out - she will love it! |

I already have the front room full with 1 Beardie and 5 Leopard Geckos :) But im sure I could find room for 1 last viv.. |

Hello and welcome in. If you can manage to get your girlfriend to hold a royal I'm sure she'll fall in love with them. Then you just need to convert a spare room into a rep room to house the multitude of snakes you'll start to collect. |

Hi, my friend was scared of snakes too but curiosity got the better of her and within an hour she was stroking him then had him crawling on her. Now she loves him |

I was thinking that I could just buy one, then its too late and she cant do anything about it. Ha-ha.
She wasn't keen on the Bearded Dragon or Leopard Geckos when I got those either but she soon warmed to them. One of her friends has a Royal so I'm going to try and get her to hold it (or at least touch it) and see how she gets on with that.

Just bring one home. She will soon get around it lol. Enjoy the addiction. Personally snakes have a bad name and also many people I no. Think there slimey. No idea why. But 80 % of people I no will now touch my snake. It's impressive lol. |
