                | ashby_steve | Posted - 03/11/2013 : 17:12:11 Been thinking about getting myself a royal for a while now, after keeping corns for the past 7 years, it was time to up my collection.

Took the plunge today and got a 6 month old royal that is a little shaky being handled, but confident enough not to ball up when you go near him so hopefully he wont be too bad getting used to me :)

He's about as fat as a pingpong ball at his fattest and about 15 inches long or so from what i can tell.

His records say he hasn't missed a feed other than a couple about 4 months ago and he just had a full shed at less than 2 weeks ago.

All in all, very happy with him, he's just getting settled into his new home now while me and the other half try to think of a name for the little fella (suggestions welcome)!

 Wish me luck!
