Yes that's right i keep my readout so its reading the hot end/in all the time then just check the cool end/out every now and again
lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 20:32:31
yeah i have put the out probe in the cool end so to read the in wire that would be the warm ?
carlb1981 Posted - 03/06/2012 : 20:29:46
It depends on where you put the out probe, if you look at where the wires come out of the readout you'll see there marked up which probe is the in and which is the out then just follow the wire to where you've placed them
lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 20:26:13
so i have put it on the out so is that measuring the cold end ?
lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 20:05:05
cheers for the help mate i will give it a try and see what happens .
carlb1981 Posted - 03/06/2012 : 19:54:34
Ah right for that you need to press mode a few times until you get to the current temp with in flashing next to it then press the adjust button and that will change to the out probes reading, i have the in probe at hot end directly under heat source and the out probe attached to side of viv close to the floor at cool end hope this helps as i think they are fantastic piece of equipment that does everything you need
lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 19:48:17
yeah that the 1 i have and warm end cold end .
carlb1981 Posted - 03/06/2012 : 18:33:00

lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 17:13:37
what is the max button all i have is mode set adjust and snooze i think i am going to get a diffrent 1 in the shop tomoro it has gone totally over my head lol
carlb1981 Posted - 03/06/2012 : 16:45:16
My max temp doesn't have a reading it just has hhhh or something like that but i think that was due to the fact my temps while setting up my viv went above the temp range of the thermometer
carlb1981 Posted - 03/06/2012 : 16:36:25
Is the min max button not working?
lewis Posted - 03/06/2012 : 15:34:38

carlb1981 Posted - 02/06/2012 : 21:23:14
