Hi All,

Thought I would sign up and say hello. I have recently got my Royal after wanting one since I was a kid!

I picked him up on Saturday from a guy called Phil who works at Your Pets in Midgham, Berkshire. He is a really nice guy, very knowledgable, friendly and helpful.

He/She hasnt been sexed as yet as 'he's' still quite small so Phil said bring him back in about a month to probe. I popped him in his RUB in the vivarium and have left him alone, only disturbing him to change the water daily. (He hasnt moved much so I did give him a little stroke last night to make sure he was ok and was glad when he moved).

I was really worried about the first feed at home, which was tonight. I popped him into a platsic tub and offered up the mouse and was so pleased when he struck it.... about 5 minutes later it was gone so I gently popped him back in the RUB and I'll leave him alone for a few days before handling.

Very happy new owner, with what looks like a Royal whose settling in well.

Mat

Hello and welcome. Glad to hear hes got off to a good start feeding wise. And I agree, sounds like he's settling in just nicely :)
