Posted - 29/10/2014 : 05:10:49 thanks. ive offered him hides in the past but hes never bothered to use them so took them out. i find young boas tend to use hides a lot but once they get to a good size they dont bother using them anymore |

Posted - 28/10/2014 : 11:45:15 I like the setup. I have hides for my boa but I've noticed loads of pics of vivs with no hides. Any reason? |

Posted - 26/10/2014 : 10:19:17 you just collect it from outside from areas/your garden where chemicals ect have not been sprayed. no need to clean it as this would just kill all the bugs that you want in the viv along with the native bugs from the leaf litter ive added springtails, woodlice, mealworms/darkling beetles and a couple of native centipedes for the clean up crew. personally i spot clean the poo ect as usual instead of leaving it all for the bugs to break down but any leftover bits/small bits of urate ect will get eaten by the clean up crew |
