yup , normally hes just chilling on his branch and just kinda eyeballs u or looks like hes snoozing . but those pics he wanted to kno what was going on lol and if hes hungry he certainly seems more interested in everything . and when hes out EVERYTHING is a game and he wants to chec everything out lol

Thats exactly how Sanke goes, I used to feed her in a separate tub but she kept catching a whiff of rat while still on my hand then it was a game of dodge the strikes while getting her off my hand. She is fed in her rub these days, bit safer for her and my hands. I love how curious they are though, you can see in the first 2 the interest in what you are doing there.

he had that look in his eye , looks all sweet in the first and second pic , but like when sharks eyes change , as soon as he smelt it u dont wanna be in that viv lol!

Great pictures, Boas do turn into demon snakes when food is involved, nice as pie the rest of the time though luckily.

he has a litter that have only just had their first shed , so i would maybe give him a call and reserve one as they sell very quickly . we are potentially getting a female from him when they are ready . but also have an 09 female in our sights too . they are cool little snakes :) i did put some vids on here somewhere that show his size at 2 years old not sure if u have seen them or not , but he will prob get a little bigger than this as they mature around 4 years old

chay Posted - 08/07/2011 : 13:09:13
Am i rite that yours is from gaz boas? Is that the best place? And where in country is gaz
Laws Posted - 08/07/2011 : 13:05:24
nope not really , they like the warm end around 31-32c , cold end around 80f , they like the option to climb abit and be high up . they are fed as adults a large mouse every 10 -14 days , and thats about it really . they top out around 3.5 -4.5 feet males being smaller and they stay fairly slender . As with all boas they change colour through out the day so its like having three different snakes . hes been great so far , not fussy with food and doesnt hide away x
