Do try and persuade them

Can't wait to see everyone's cresties in a months time ;) lol
reptiledanny Posted - 14/07/2011 : 18:48:48
ye if i eventually manage to persuade parents for the gecko, i will def be buying some of your repashy diet as i now it is very very good
MrsA82 Posted - 14/07/2011 : 18:42:12
Foods not too dear varies on brand though. You can get the Komodo which is about a fiver for 75g we use the repashy from the America. If you look on d3lboys website he's got it on there at good prices too. there's not many suppliers of the repashy in the uk. And even less of the Clarks!

well i already have pretty much all i need , i have a small faun , i have milk bottle lids to use as water bowls /food bowls . got plenty of kitchen rolls thanks to my poo machine corns , got a few climbing branches would literally need the dude /dudette , food and maybe a few fake plants . how much does the food cost ? theres someone i kno thats gona have babies ready in october time , early xmas present ;)
reptiledanny Posted - 14/07/2011 : 17:38:36
gargs are nice, not my cup of tea, but look very nice, someone over on tcsf just got one, and looks quite sweet
and we will just have to wait and see if i can get the one im after lol, have to get parents permision, and save up a bit
Evolution Morphs Posted - 14/07/2011 : 16:15:02
its best to have a small set-up for babies so they don't get lost and can find there food ;)
Laws Posted - 14/07/2011 : 14:32:23
sounds very easy , i kno about the varied diet and if u feed crickets u need to dust them with calcium etc . if i got a hatchling i heard that a normal height faunarium would do them for awhile , and i wouldnt need a heatmat until the cold weather comes as our house is warm in the summer . i dont no if i can twist the missus arm this time , but if i find everything out and stuff then maybe in a few months hehe :)

They are just doing add water now
They use to do the 2 part mix but that's changed now
I'm selling it here or on my website
In 25-50-100g
And I'm the cheapest I've seen in the uk on my website ;)
It's strawberries and bananas just add water which is original mix
You don't even have to feed the cresties anything else
But we like to offer a varied diet like crickets and fruit

they are beautiful, i used to have one, but unfortunatly had to get rid of him due to having to feed every day and not having the time due to exams. might still have some old pics of him on pb, will have a look. they are so simple to care for, and atm i am looking into maybe getting another or getting something still from the R family, but a bit different if i can source one

edit: found some pics

some of his cage:

Laws Posted - 14/07/2011 : 13:01:16
certainly does ! i have just been looking at prices , i can get one from a pet shop by me for 40 , i thought they would be abit cheaper really , but i will keep looking , i like the look of the ones that are really quite frilly on the head if that makes sense lol!
Evolution Morphs Posted - 14/07/2011 : 12:33:42
Well we make up a batch of repashy and keep it in a air tight container for up to a week. As for actually in the cage. The babies have their food changed daily as they only have a pea sized amount and any left tends to dry up. The adults I leave for 36 hours as they seem to like it the 2nd day a bit more. We freeze fruit but not the cgd as you can just make what you need if you like but sure it could be frozen.

Just to add when you give them fruit they need a bit of nutrobal added for extra vitamins this is added once the fruit has been defrosted as it looses it's goodness if it's frozen with the fruit. Hope that helps a little
Laws Posted - 14/07/2011 : 12:26:21
how long do ur leave their food in there ? someone said u can mix the repashys stuff up and then put into ice cubes and freeze then defrost as required ? or would it just be thr friut u can do that with ? do u just leave it in and change it after a day or so ?
