I had just given these pampered molluscs a shower and took a little video of them.

Oh they try to eat everything, they are great little waste disposal units, they eat all the peel from my veg and fruit, they clean up left over gecko food, dog biscuits that end up in the water bowl are keenly hoovered up by them too. I even give them some off ham and they munched away at it. The only thing I've fed them that they didnt eat was egg shell but they have cuttle bone for their calcium intake so its no surprise they didnt want it.

They look well, and kind of hungry - can see them nomming on your fingers.

Reminds me of the time when I was living in my last house and my then partner and me had had a fish and chip supper outside late at night at the garden table and, very slovenly of us, didn't clear up the containers ....following morning, I was sitting at same table with coffee and heard this ...snick ...snick ...noise ...

Wtf????

Finally I traced it to a polystyrene chip container.

A slug had got in there and was nomming on the greasy traces ...snick ...snick ...
