yay i finally got to see ivan eat. thought i would try feeding in a rub again, wiggled ratty at him which he ignored so dropped it in the rub an he was on it within an few seconds
an heres a video, just like the female he dont hang around when theres food. just over 2 mins to finish the rat

thanks, yea its amazing how fast they eat.
have seen frank an dereks belly's go slightly pink, never looked at ivans just noticed hes looking dull |

Bloody hell, you're not kidding - it's like a cartoon, those muscle waves taking his rat down - typical pit - good lad Ivan and brilliant vid and pics.
You know how they say a royal's belly goes pink before shedding? I've only seen this once in a royal - but Shadrach's belly went pink too - and sure enough he was soon in blue. (Fascinating fact for the day lol.)
