At work I was thinking to myself how I would be able to tell if my tiny albino housie (now named Hal) was in shed as its so pale anyway and its belly it pure unblemished white. I figured I'd put a post up and see if anyone had any tips, I came home at lunch and...

SO the answer is it appears at his size I'll not notice any tell tale signs but I'll be attempting a feed today so I'll try get a quick pic of a freshly shed housie.

I'll just have to keep an eye on him and see if anything happens. I noticed nothing this week but I only really saw him during water bowl changes. He did OK anyway so it appears I'm not required to do anything so thats always a good thing to know. Boas really do get granny necks dont they, Sanke looks terrible just before a shed, like she is 1000 years old lol.

Yeah i saw that post too but Hal is far too tiny to pick out scales just yet, he isn't quite as thick as a well known fast food chains drinking straws.

nice complete shed there.
read a post on TCS about snow corns shedding, if i remember right one of the signs was the scales lifting a little
