chrisc Posted - 01/05/2012 : 18:25:49
took william out to put more layers of newspaper under the aspen an got a couple of quick pics.

chrisc Posted - 01/05/2012 : 17:12:33
thankfully it didnt smell to much as it was in under the water.
need to take him out later as theres only one layer of newspaper on the floor an from what ive been reading most people have a good 7 or 8 layers so theres plenty to absorb any pee.

Eww! Can imagine! Rather you than me!

I get a miniature version in her water bowl from Ziska and that's quite bad enough ...what really makes me gag is carrying the thing up to the bog ...talk about slopping out! Does save the substrate though.

lol It will be great if you could learn your snakes to do it in the water bowl every time
and congrats on the the boa looks beautiful, can't wait how he will look after the shed.

that pic is brilliant, may get a few bites as hes a handfull an quite nervious.
got chewed on by a 2ft jungle corn this afternoon, took holding him under water for 10 minutes for him to let go

Nice one, a big fella too. I give it a week until you post one of these:

Boa bites are fun.
ajokocha Posted - 29/04/2012 : 23:22:21
Ah I see, look forward to more pics :). Once he's settled of course.
chrisc Posted - 29/04/2012 : 23:19:38
thanks, hes about 5ft at a guess maybe more.
he was rehomed from my friend at the local rescue center and i brought him home in a big flat RUB. will check what size it is later
ajokocha Posted - 29/04/2012 : 23:15:28
Ah he's gorgeous! Definately getting me one of these the second I get my own place lol. This may sound silly, having only took corns and royals home, how do you get such a big boy from the shop to your place? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't fit in them round plastic tubs you get young royals in lol.
