not saying it will burn your house down but could die and need replacing. expensive kit as well (kind of) and easily avoided.

Not saying you are wrong but explain how positioning them in anything but a vertical position can cause them to 'burn out' other than the strain on the wires/connections supporting the unit as in the picture.

thanks you. im not a huge fan of RUBS but this will keep her amused till shes bigger or i find a small viv.
she seems happy in there climbing about an switching ends, doesnt use her hides much though.
did have a problem with the temps at first as the thermometer was giving a reading that was 3-4c out sorted now the hot end is 28-34c with the microclimate mat stat as theres a few degress between on an off

She's beautiful, Chris. :) That video actually made me laugh, because it reminded me of one time when I went to feed Diablo. He was just about to go into shed and I didn't know it at the time, but it was making him terribly moody. I went to give him his mouse as usual and he did just what yours did: he reared up, hissed and struck in all sorts of warning. I tried a second time to give it to him and he hit it so hard that he tore the mouse nearly in two, then spit it back out. :D Needless to say, I was a bit perplexed.....up until the following days when he turned blue, lol. Congrats on your beauty!

thanks. they were stuck in place but kept falling off need to glue them on. when stuck in place theres no stress in the wires an its their inside plastic trunking
