Posted - 04/07/2012 : 16:47:46 Hi Guys,
I currently have two ball pythons. Only recently started properly looking at morphs. I know for a fact one of my dudes is a normal, but I've always noticed the other is noticably darker in colour, and its bands tend to have circles compared to the normals, if that makes sense.
I dont want to get excited just yet but my uneducated theory is that I may have a black pastel.
I know this post is almost useless without photos but I will be adding photos tonight of both. (Fingers crossed lol)
If anyone has a black pastel it would be great to get a look at a photo if possible. |

Posted - 05/07/2012 : 19:45:48 Hey Cookie, I know how you feel. :) My big male, Anubis, is extremely dark! He has always been that way, even from a baby. When I got my female, Isis, she was sooooo gold and light compared to him. So I went on a research adventure and asked a bunch of professional breeders about Anubis. Come to find out...he's just a really dark, nice looking normal. :D Still doesn't make them any less beautiful, though! ;) |

Post a pic and I'll tell you But my bet is if you brought it as a normal it probably is |
