zeus is having a bit of a growth spurt an was getting a little cramped in the viv which was 4x18x18 and is now 4x25x18.
it dont look too bad considering the wood doesnt match but it gives him loads more room untill i get his new viv next weekend.

yes theres a few here now but unfortunatly i need to downsize a bit as will have to move again in a few months so a couple of the boas im not going to new homes.
he only comes out for a play 3 or 4 times a week but my friend did most of the work to get him pretty much tame while he had him.
yes in the last month hes had a fair growth spurt an as they only live for around 9 years they grow fast and are almost constantly shedding.
thanks the extension came out better than i thought, ive got 2 vivs that are the same so built by measuring the other one thats got the afrock an luckily it lined up with only a little persuasion.
i should have a 4x2x2 coming for him at the weekend then will probably get him a 5x2x2 then see what size he grows to, at this rate he could get up to 4-5ft |

Aww, I love Boscs. I'd love to have one if I thought I could give enough of my time. I'm not sure I could though, with all my other pets and of course with me having M.E.
He's growing, isn't he? I love his eyes : )
So what size viv is he going into next?
(you've done a clever job of making his old one bigger by the way. I'd make it look like something Jack built!) |

hes ok to handle can still be a bit arsey an hissy at times as he still need a bit more regular handling.
a friend had to rehome some of his animals so my mum took on zeus and i took on the evil tai beauty snake |

thanks im still very tempted to get myself a female bosc at some point.
we have 3 jack russell's in the house an just lock them in another room when he comes out only problem is the viv needs to be off the floor so they dont wind him up |

man he's stunning!
Me and the Mrs really want a bosc but can't because of our dog (we'd want to give him loads of "out of the viv time"
So i THINK all going well, we will settle for an ackie. |
