Hi Guys,

Those of you who own a Boa I'm hoping have had the same issues because I need an aswer asap!

Might sound odd but I use a large metal water bowl (dog bowl) for my big boy, and recently he is wrecking havock in the tank! He is constantly tipping it over and flooding the tank causing the wood to swell (which means I need a new tank now!)

I've tried jamming it in place, but he coils around it and pops it up in the air, and all over the tank lol.. Anyone have any suggestions for a better water bowl as im worried this will make him sick as I cant always be around to clean it out...

Thanks for the tips guys. I ended up buying a large ceramic dog bowl from Jollyes pet store lol. Its perfect, except i just have to make sure to hide 'dogs life' to the back haha

I'm with Kelf on the rub. They are nice and wide and once you get enough water in abouthalf the height of the snake it's heavy enough not to tip over. Our six foot boa is always sitting on the side of the rub and it never tips.

£3 in Tesco, ceramic baking pots. Heavy, flat and practically un tippable.

I use a RUB filled with water for mine but it depends on the size of your boa really.
