For a bearded dragon set up what should the temps be between cool end and under the lamp?

I have 34 under the lamp so far

And 24 at cool end.

It's a 3 foot viv

I do mine by putting the thermostat probe in the middlle of the tank then turn the stat up till you get to the right temps. By putting the probe in middle of tank it makes bulb work harder so can get to right temps. Then have the thermometer probe under the heat bulb so you know it isn't too hot in there for them
