Posted - 15/02/2013 : 22:43:55 Yeah I think although not strictly required it will be beneficial, it's just about working out the correct amount of UV etc, whether you go high UV short time or less for longer. Still doing my research on that but my vivs will be fitted with UV within month or two. |

Posted - 15/02/2013 : 20:19:26 Hi , I put a compact uv light in with my young snakes, I think it will do more good than harm. |

Posted - 15/02/2013 : 15:32:10 All boas can be a bit nippy when they are small, dwarf types being the worse offenders. A quick Google of the weather trends of the area they are from gives you a good idea of the conditions they should be kept at. I'm trialling a bit of humidity control and also researching UV requirements too at the moment to hone in the absolute best conditions I can provide (more on that coming soon). |

Posted - 15/02/2013 : 07:04:08 Yeah its just the madagascan and dumerils that need extra humidity. Other than that they are all the same apart from size and temperament. |

Posted - 15/02/2013 : 01:49:47 As far as I'm aware all boas set up are very similar. I did alot of research when I got my boa. And I tried to find something about the type your looking at and a few people said care wise is the same. So check out this site and it may give you an idea
