i thought i would share a pic i took of a green mamba at london zoo, which was taken quite a few years ago now.

nope I am wrong - I was thinking boomslang - then I found this website which mentions them being rear fanged;

They are fixed front fanged. Means their fangs are shorter than a viper's for example but still effective and day ruining.

thanks, i suppose the shed must of come off by itself. trying to pull the retainted shed off of a green mambas face is quite risky

Amazing snake.

I've seen people getting retained shed and eyecaps off hots and WOW, I thought I had issues with my kingsnake lol
