turn's out mt new male h.spinifer is actually a h.petersii but luckily i had misidentified my 2 female's so i now have 2.2 h.petersii so all good.
anyway when i took them to a friend's for him to identify them we paired up 2 of them they were dancing about an locking the chela but she broke it off for some reason so will try again later but i got some good pic's
he's grabbed her pedipalp's
doing a bit of dancing about
and them locked together just before she got bored

mating attempt 2 this time with the other pair.
all was going well they were doing the mating dance an could see a cheliceral kiss and cheliceral lock, the male then dropped his spermatophore(can just see it when they break) but unfortunately the female broke it off again.
have to wait 2 week's before pairing him again but will try with the other's in a couple of day's.
got a good video of the dance though

first time ive seen it very cool to watch an some of it is pretty aggressive.
will see if i can fit a cricket tub an the stuff in the little boxe's ive got tomorrow, not going to charge anything for that mate got load's of substrate an bit's of bark/leaves lying around |

yes just the scorp, they are all in cricket tub setup's at the moment an that will do them for a while yet.
bit of coco fiber an a couple of bit's of cork bark or fake leave's is all they need |

Ok Chris. Obviously that's just the scorp and not anything else. So I'd have to sort out a home for them as such n see how my funds are. |

Nice pics, Hope you get better luck on the next try. I get my African Red Claw tmr or sat...seeing these has got me all exited. The last Scorpion I had was an Emperor, I was 17 & never been able to have one since until now. |
