Posted - 24/08/2013 : 01:07:05 To anyone that owns a Crestie... Have they ever randomly gone off their food? Charlie hasnt eaten in nearly two weeks. Isnt interested in her repashy or locusts, still more than happy to be handled and jumping around her tank, drinking and looks ok. Nothing has changed that im aware of, up till now shes always been a little eating machine and had recently come up to a breeding weight so i was wondering if that might be it? Any response is greatly appreciated. |

All the animals have gone crazy in this weather, royals are all over the place and the boa is being stroppy! |

Posted - 01/09/2013 : 20:36:02 I have the pickiest crestie in the world. Check her over, make sure there is nothing obviously wrong, check her calcium reserves too, it can be a sign of problems if they are depleted.
I know that Harley has been very very very fast and skittish during all this hot weather, I've barely been able to hold him at all, just too fast and impossible to keep a hold of.
Maybe just taking a tiny bit if food, I know some times the only sign Harley has eaten at all is poop. Give the tank a clean out and use kitchen roll for a week and keep an eye on what's coming out if its not clear what's going in. |
