Had a phone call couple days a go regarding a bearded dragon that needed to be re homed.

5foot hand built viv. Heat mats, few ornaments etc. For nothing. So I agreed I would take him off there hands.

Lovely chap he is. I guessing around the age of 3. Previous owner wasn't sure due to rescuing it herself. But admitted not knowing too much about them.

So here he is. I've changed the heat mats for a basking spot. And added a large hide for him too. Going to leave him on paper for couple weeks then after I've fully sealed the tank etc I'm going to get some sand for him. And few more detailed extras.

More to come.

Ok I'll keep that in mind. At the moment I want to make sure his health is on top form. He eats and sheds as he should etc. We're are you located?

My hedgehog passed recently and we've been looking into a beardie. If you can't find a home I could convince my MIL to let me take him?

Thanks for comments guys. But yeah too many reptiles just being thrown away. Does no one realise the life span but still want to commit to having these and then getting bored. Bugs me. Hence why I'm trying to take on what I can. I'm not working at the moment due to health reason so good opportunity for me to do my bit.

And I'm not sure whether to keep him or not. Will for a while but would like to find him a home else were I got 22 pets now lol and the missus is going mad as the dining room n living room are full of tanks

She keeps saying I should open a shop and boarding as there's non around here. And I've not got a lot of space lol

What is it with bearded dragons? Sick of people buying them and then deciding they cant look after them or whatever!
