have now started work on jasmin's new 5x6x2 viv
got the wood cut at b&q just needed to trim it slightly as the old viv im using some of the wood from is not quite 5ft

frame work fitted to one end/side

some of it fitted together just to show the size

an new big branch to go in there drying in the airing cupboard, will find some more over the weekend

kept getting distracted while doing the viv by some idiot jumping around an clawing the glass wanting to come out an play

inspecting the wood for her new home

will update this with more pic's as i go along

cheer's shame it's exspensive for you to get wood are they not any timber yard's/wholesaler's you could get it from?

That looks great, good job. I want to build a three viv stack so priced up the wood the other day & it works out cheaper for me to buy one...wood here is so bloody expensive! Shame as like you i like to build my own. Got some plans for a nice Boa viv made of oak with cabinet but need to win the lottery first!
