The other day we had a couple of friends round, so I decided to get Feather out to show them. She nearly fell off me twice as she was still dozy, and what with having been woken during daylight and strange people she wasn't a happy bunny so I decided to put her back. She tried to constrict my wrist, and then bit me twice for good measure before scooting back into her cave. I am now a proper herper!  Bless her she even drew blood.
Late on that evening when it was dark and quiet I had her out again and she was an angel. I think quiet evenings for her for a while until she's more used to being hoiked out by the big monkey things.  |

I got home last night to find that Feather had shed her skin, so that might explain why she wasn't happy to be handled on Saturday. I must have missed her being blue while she was hiding in her cave. Unlike Princess she still chomped her rat down on Tuesday though.
It was a nice one-piece shed too! |

My little s**t bit me last night! Same finger as the iguana bite too. Drew blood but no pain thankfully. He's absolutely mental now when its feeding time, striking at anything that moves. I dangled the mouse in and he struck but missed by a mile. I dropped it. He seemed shocked at missing and retreated to corner so I put my hand in to get mouse out and try wiggling again....... BANG! struck my hand! Two hours later I tried him again and he ate the mouse and a rat pup. Hopefully now hes on a bit bigger prey he'll be less frantic at feeding. |

Bah, Daz's JCP and 337's Iguana both beat mine. I'm going to wait until she hits eight feet and then make her angry, that'll show you!

Nice to see that you're a fully qualified member now .
Not too bothered about my snakes biting me. The one I am dreading is Godzilla when he decides to play Billy Big Balls. That IS going to hurt. |

Both sets of her choppers, the evil little beast! The other bite looks much the same but only one row of punctures. I was expecting it to hurt, but I thought she'd just butted me until I saw the blood. I've had worse from a playful cat. |
