Hi, I bought a jungle mack snow leopard gecko on the weekend at the Doncaster show, she is three months old and has been feed only on Mealworms.

just a few things:

1. I've tried to feed her crickets and superworms (which are massive, but the guy at coast to coast (reptile shop in Darlington) said it would be ok)and so far she hasn't ate, which I'm not to bothered about as she's just moved in.
I was wondering if it would be hard to get her off only eating mealworms? and can I just feed her mealworms? seen lots of different opinions on the net, but you guys have always answered any questions I've had about my royal with great advance and help, so was wondering what you thought.

2. she is always in her wet hide, which as it happens is probably the most sheltered of her hides, so is she in there because she wants to be moist or because she doesn't feel securer in the hot hide, don't want her to get to cold!

i kno there different species but when i had my beardies they got addicted to meal worms and wouldnt move to eat the crickets so take meal worms out and leave him for about 3 days offering him one cricket hand fed each day then put the meal worms back in at nyt but only about 3 then decrease the number of worms as you increase the number of crickets; you can even pull of the crickets back legs so the scent can be picked up easier and it makes it easier for ur gecko to catch em

hope this helps but they are species so might not work quite as effectivly
