As i'm building in the living room all my critter clan are bunking in my bedroom (actually my dining room, having work done to my bedroom) at about 3am I was awoken to the loudests chirp chirp chirp noise I've heard, the dog is sat up in his bed eyes fixed over to the cricket tub. I think I have a rogue anarchist cricket that won't be silenced, I shouted at it and it did hush but I heard it a few times that night/morning.

He eats anything that moves, not such a fan of Gecko diet but he loves crickets, roaches (proven now) waxworms, the moths from wax worms. I will put calciworms on my next order, I dust all of his food in calcium and gut load his food with fresh greens, Gecko diet so it doesn't go to waste when he leaves it, and protein jelly that everything seems to love and smells delicious, I've offered Harley some of the jelly too but I have yet to see any evidence of him eating it. I try to give him variety to cover all the bases with his diet requirements, due to him been a bit slow taking to gecko diet.

yeah good plan, better feeders to and way better then crickets as a staple feeder :)

will your gecko eat calci worms?as they have an amazing Calcium to Phosphorus ratio to.

Yup, it's the males that chirp; you'll see the wing casings rubbing together and probably you'll see other mature males challenging each other. The females have larger abdomens and an unmistakeable ovipositor sprouting from their rear end. They say nowt, but when it comes to mating - they're on top!

Boomslang I couldn't agree more - they are messy beyond belief and they stink to high heaven and die as soon as they breed and lay, but I do like the noise they make. Must get some more some time ...
