Posted - 25/01/2012 : 21:03:27 Sanke burst her mouse on Sunday, I gave her plenty of time to digest but today was the day for getting a quick wipe down. I put her in the feeding tub loosely placed the lid on top, turned to get the kitchen roll and dip it in warm water turned back and she had her head wedged into the clip part of the lid. She was about 4 inches through the hole but the rest of her had no chance at all. I grabbed her to prevent her getting any further stuck and then was treated to the might of a 3 foot Boa. I then decided to use my sleeve to cover her head to try calm her down which seemed to work I had to then grab her by the head and pull her straight, she was calm then and I was able to slowly feed her neck back through the hole avoiding any scale damage.
Finally got her free and sat with her on my lap, she very calmly gave a big yawn to realign her jaw and then went for a climb up me.
I'm glad she is the Sanke of today and not the Sanke I first got she'd have bitten the arm off of me but I didn't even get hissed at.

Posted - 25/01/2012 : 22:31:50 I know I was sitting heart going ten to the dozen and she just has a little yawn. After a climb on me I let her have a climb on the clothes airer. she went to the top, got herself comfy and sat watching the world.
