Posted - 03/03/2012 : 00:31:37 I have not seen my OBT out of the burrow properly for ages (there was a video of the event somewhere) anyway I decided to lure him out today with a wax worm strategically placed just out of reach of the burrow entrance. I then got on with my insect related chores (stinky crickets) I look over and this HUGE orange house cat with 8 legs is standing bold as brass out of the burrow, gently easing forward feeling the ground where the waxworm has now hidden just under the soil, it then scoops up a chunk of soil, bites in and as the dust settles he turns away worm in fang and pushes into the burrow through a hole that wasnt visible from the surface (to me anyway) Boris is absolutely massive now, I reach for my phone to take a picture but the spirit of cellular power frowned upon my idea and my phone died. So shocked though was I that I had to share. I will see if the same trick works tomorrow and see if I can get a picture or video.

(i was natturally a few feet behind her with rolled up newspaper)
