Posted - 25/03/2009 : 19:19:10 silly me. i ordered 500 crickets online as i was fed up of half dead ones from the shops. thought they would come in little boxes, but no, a big bag of them arrived today ^_^ so i transferred them into a large box with food hides and water etc. but i did it in the kitchen. so tonight i was cooking tea, walked in the kitchen just in time to spy a rogue cricket decide to take a bubble bath in the boiling spaghetti. yum. dont tell the kids. i'm not wasting good spaghetti. lol. |

I buy all my live food on the net and it comes in bags aswell i put the bags in the fridge for a few mins and that makes them slow and easy to sort out |

Posted - 25/03/2009 : 19:46:30 it's funny cos my son (who owns the geckos really) is scared of crickets :) i dont have the heart to stop feeding them to the gecks though cos they seem to enjoy chasing them, plus i need them for the T's. dont think i will be buying them in batches of 500 again though... that was a bit of a miscalculation on my part! :D |
