Posted - 02/06/2012 : 09:56:49 So I said I'd post photos if I got some fry from my Fish. And indeed I did, on Monday. I came home from the shops to find two Guppy fry hiding in the plants : 3 Mummy Guppy is a blonde, red tail. She's called Geisha ('cause she's pale with a red fan-like tail) and she's my biggest girl. Daddy, I'm sure, is my mad-as Lemon.
So here are some photos of my first two fry who, just for now, are called Lucky & Suds... 'cause I think they were!
At two days old...
They're both growing like weeds and as you can see there's already a colour difference between them : )
I'll be taking photos of them as they grow and start to show their true colours so I can post them here if peoples would like? |

Yeah, it would be lovely to have a bigger shoal of them : ) |

Posted - 03/06/2012 : 12:11:23 Congrats - I bet you keep finding more every day now. You're going to have a beautiful shoal of guppies at this rate - nothing to beat them in large numbers, could watch them for ages. |

Well, your in luck BATS, 'cause yesterday I found three more!
...And they're all orange!
Wanna see? ; )
These photos show them now at six days old and I have to say the camera flash washes their colour out a bit.
For now their nicknames are Fanta, Tango and Orangina : ) |
