I have noticed that Fea at times has protruding scales on his belly, and I can't swaer to it, but i'm pretty sure I have heard a crackling sound when he grips on to me.
He has just had a full shed with nothing retained, and still I notice these points.

It is mostly when he's being awkward lol

Is this just something Boas do?
