I have the chance to buy a 6 wk old locally bred baby.

I would like a few opinions on these snakes before I go ahead :)

Thanks

I handle them all every day, barring the 48hrs after feeding :)

Even Ra, my Beauty snake has become docile, tonight I fed him again on the sofa, but he was still in my left hand, held the mouse in my right lol and he just opens his mouth wide and gently takes it. Tonight I had to lift it as he couldn't get his jaw round its head.

I saw one recently was an amazing looking snake. The guy had had it from young so was used to be handled but I would imagine it's the same with any snake if you don't handle from a young age they will be a little stroppy.
blackskull Posted - 26/06/2012 : 21:42:05
from my experience i would handle it a lot. something i haven't done with mine and she is very flighty and doesn't like being touched, something i need to rectify.
JanieW Posted - 26/06/2012 : 21:39:27
*grins* Thankyou Blackskull, just the encouragement I hoped for
