Didn't see another thread about this show and it's just around the corner so thought I'd post one to see who's going?
I live literally 5 minutes away so I'll deffinately be going to have a look around, persuaded the missus to come with me too, should be a laugh *evil cackle*
Would be good to meet up with anyone else who's going, chance for me to soak up some of your knowledge too ^^ |

Just a little update here, I emailed Havant leisure centre and they said it's still on and sent me a leaflet.

wasnt it the apa that did that chameleon (sp) campaign with lush not so long ago? and it ended up with people actually demonstrating outside the stores?
I love this line "Exotic pet keeping is a 'hobby' of ignorance" what a load of ****e! haha yeah ok theres people that buy them to look cool! BUT its the same with any animal theres always a few that break the rules.. but tbh my snakes get more attention than my boyfriend! haha (sorry mike) |

I had a look on the APA website, i believe they're the chaps behind the moaning- was crazy, just a long series of blatant lies and scaremongering :O
Just things like
"Exotic pet keeping is a 'hobby' of ignorance, where animal keepers know little about the biological needs of their captives"
and
"People who buy exotic pets are often not aware of the significant disease risk that they invite into their homes."
-sigh- Nevermind lets just hope it doesn't get cancelled I was looking forward to this. |

oh my i aint seen this, i was going to come along to this to, i dont know whether to risk it tho, as i dont wanna drive 70 miles to see its not happening, its such a shame as iv heard good things about this show, isnt this the reason the maidstone shows got cancelled? |
