Right after breaking the door on a tv unit in allowed to convert it into a Viv

This will house one of my royals,

All I need to know is will I need to coat the inside of the unit with anything, most of the unit is oak and had a light varnish altho most of this has and will be sanded off

I'll be sanding the varnish off anyway, its what to use to waterproof im unsure of what to use

depends on the varnish used...some will heat up and cause some nasty fumes for the royal, but it does need water proofing
