Hi I have made a hide for my royal and just wondered what kinds of products are safe to seal it with. I have seen some people use yacht varnish just wondered if there was anything else. And is there anything that when it dries it stays dull looking as I don't want it too look shiney |

i use BandQ's home brand matt varnish, its low toxicity. i just leave it for about 3 weeks to cure properly.

Yeah I have seen that lol I have got it all painted up just need to seal it to waterpfoor it just don't wanna use something that could harm the snake |

I've seen grout used with added paint to colour so it looks like rock |
