have been busy this afternoon tidying up the wires on my vivs( 1 down 2 to go) with some stick on plastic trunking.
i was going to buy some thats big enough to fit all 3 stat wires but my mate had this small stuff lying around which is better an takes up less room.
it came out better than i though it would anyway heres the pics

rubbed off the glue on this part an put 2 screws in

also squeesed the thermometer wire into the trunking an stuck the the tremometer to the stat

have also ordered some butyl heat resistant cable to go from the ceramic that will be here in a day or 2

what do you think?

was thinking about using a few drops of super glue or bits of velcro.
have now removed the inside trunking as the heat resistant cable wouldnt fit inside it an nailed it to the roof with with those white clip things

Haha yeah mine all did that I ended up using super glue, oops. XD

thanks as getting fed up of the mess.
need some stronger double sided tape for the stats though, they fell off after about 10 minutes

That is a thinng of beauty, nothing more amazing than seeing wild wires tamed down.

fingers crossed youve zapped all the little gits.
think i would be the same an forever checking for them

Ah, yes, thanks, I really hope so. Have seen no more sign of them and all the viv and gear is still protected by the Ardap spray I gave it a month ago, when Sulah was in the spare viv. She finally shed last night and made a gigantic wet mess, and she's never stopped eating - going to offer her 2 small mice tomorrow.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday when I noticed a dark speck on Spider's belly but after examination decided it was a natural speckle; checked again today to make sure.

That's the trouble with mites - once you've had them you tend to get really paranoid ...I'll be checking for the things for the rest of my natural now lol!

thanks richard it came out better than i thought.
got to remove the inside trunking though as the heat resistant cable ive got is too big for it so will clip it to the roof.

good to hear their doing well an look forward to more pics of sula.
are you now rid of the mites?

hows the terrible ziska an shadrach doing? not heard about them in a while

Aww they are great thanks - both growing and eating like gannets. Ziska's in blue atm but Shadrach greets me most mornings, frantic for his armchair walkies, which the poor guy hasn't had much of recently due to the mite worry and a bit too much interest from new cat Molly, who hasn't learned to respect snakes yet. I've managed to indulge him a couple of times though - he is so laid back for a pit.

I really must post new pics - plus ones of Sulah, who's nearly at the end of her 3 month quarantine and, due to mites, has never had a decent armchair walkies yet! I think she only knows me as a food provider. But we'll get there.

Hope you're enjoying your whisky lol.

That is a very good idea, might just do that myself.
