Posted - 28/08/2012 : 20:27:38 ok, so Ive chucked out all the bark and put the boys on kitchen roll cos Boris has mites! Trouble is my temps have gone haywire! Does the bark hold the heat better? |

Posted - 29/08/2012 : 17:35:12 yeah, I suppose they went down cos the bark acts as extra stuff in the viv, whereas the paper is just on the bottom and probably doesnt hold the heat for the probe like the bark does. My snakey boys have more definition on the white paper too. And it's cheaper! Bonus all round! |

Posted - 29/08/2012 : 16:51:42 I have a 100w heat bulb. Didnt have any problems with the bark. Have monitored it over night and it seems ok now. Have to say its easier to clean with the kitchen roll. Sas pooped and peed overnight! |
