they will probably charge you an appointment fee.
if you have any good reptile shops they should do it for free or a small charge if not try an find a local breeder/someone who can probe

Anyone know roughly how much it costs to go and get a vet to sex them correctly?

yep its whats left from where they had legs.
males tend to have slightly bigger spurs but its not a accurate way of sexing them as some females have big spurs

Yes, and used to "tickle" the female into position when breeding
