Posted - 23/01/2013 : 20:40:07 Hi,
I'm having trouble getting hot end temp sorted and am in dire need of help!
It's scaring me that I might have my viv too hot.
Where should the probe to my thermometer go? In the hide? On top? I'm seriously confused. I recently moved house and the colder room seems to have contributed to this. That said, I just need to get temps right then I'll stick an oil heater in there.
I currently have the thermostat probe behind the lamp and to the right, about 2 inches from the ground. Is this right?
I know a lot has been said about this before but I feel like I need specifics. I also know that I might be annoying in my several questions, however this forum is less patronising than others...
Please help!

Posted - 24/01/2013 : 05:13:35 you could put it on top of the hide but its likely to get moved about by the snake, either just on the floor or held down with the hide like in richard's will be fine.
the problem with putting the probes inside the hide is if the temp is reading 32c inside it will be way too hot outside |

I'm monitoring temps as we speak using a mixture of what you've suggested. Appreciated! |

By directly under, you mean on top of the hide right? |
