Stupid question alert lol

If you run you hand against the side scales (against the grain so to speak) of your royals do they catch on your hand?

I know it's a stupid question. Just had Loki out after his shed and can feel some of his side scales catching. Is this a fresh shed thing or something more sinister lol

Sorry about the stupid question

Haha that's what I thought, just never noticed it before tonight lol

Must be because of his nice new shiny scales after his shed the other day :)
