Just picked up a little CB12 Pastel today and quite warming to the idea of keeping him in a RUB until he's fair bit older instead of a viv. Seen some nice setups on the web people have done. What sizes have people found best for Royals so they dont have probs feeding, shedding etc?

Sounds near enough!
Aww, bless him. He sounds as if he'll be happier in a smaller home for now.

They're ideal for my 2012 royals. I've got a hide each end, water bowl and fake plant in them and I use kitchen roll as substrate.

Cheers for replies. Theres some 12L rubs at homebase that are near enough those dimensions. 8quid, might go with one of them until he's bigger, can pack it out with hides easier then. He's extremely nervous at the moment, he even striked at me!

My cb12 G'stripe went straight into a 50l rub and has no problems with either feeding or shedding, infact she's up around the 1000g mark already

Other Juvi's I've started off in 22l tbs from staples
