What the best heat source a ceramic heat bulb or an infrared heat lamp ?

I picked ceramic for the reason of them been so good at lifting ambient temperatures, they run hotter on their surface than a standard light emitting bulb, infrared bulbs included which leak visible light. I use the term leak to demonstrate how much of the energy put into the bulb is lost as light. Ceramics are all heat so in my opinion are more efficient at doing the job of a heater.

I also hate the term infrared for these light leaking bulbs, infrared is invisible to humans, if you see it, so can the snake, it really is that simple.the infrared bulbs are designed to filter out white light which is the disturber of nocturnal animals but they don't believe it's dark, they can see it as we see it. It is less likely to disturb a nocturnal animal but its never dark. Duke thrived once I switched him to ceramics, he never explored in the red light, he does now.

No not the infrared light lol just an ordinary light so I can see him at night time so I could turn that off but that's if I go with the ceramic heat bulb

Snakes can't see infra red light lol so wouldn't need to turn it off

Yeah I was just wanting some sort or lite for the night time tho so when he's out and about and I could see him but obvious the lite would get turned off

Ceramic as it doesn't give out un wanted light as some bulbs do. Then you can regulate the day light on and off. That's means there's heat still but no disco ball flashing as you lol

I'm not 100% sure if one is better than the other

My preference is ceramic, not really sure why
