Posted - 11/03/2013 : 17:30:05 So Cuthberts last shed was ok apart from a few pieces on the top of his head. I've bathed him once but it didn't work and I kept the humidity up for a few days after as well. Is there any other tips you guys have that I could try?
Also should I just keep the damp flannel in there? I didn't know if keeping it too humid for a long time would be a bad idea.
Here's a pic of the stuck bits
Thanks! |

Posted - 11/03/2013 : 20:10:52 no not a big deal when this happen's they usually just knock off the very top of the scale, the colour will come back a bit then it will go back to normal with the next shed.

Posted - 11/03/2013 : 18:00:54 is it definatley stuck shed? look's a bit like he's just knocked a few scale's off with the shed.
give him another warm bath then while holding his head still gently roll an damp cotton bud over the area's, if it's stuck shed this should remove it fairly easily |
