Hi, I've had my 4 month old Royal for about 6 weeks. 4 days after we got him he went blue then two days later his eyes cleared and that night he shed. I thought it was a really quick shed at the time as my Milk snake takes 5 days after clearing to loose the skin.

This shed started 10 days ago and as last time he went blue then two days later it cleared ..... But still no shed !!! I'm starting to doubt it though as both times his eyes haven't clouded over very much, not like others I've seen and my milk snake who is completely blinded when blue. His dark colours seem duller but I can't see any darkening of the white bits lol

Both times I've added a humid hide with moss and he's been using it a lot the last few days.

I'm just wondering how long your Royals shedding usually takes. I know it's supposed to be a few days after clearing but 8 days seems a bit much, seeing as it was the same day last shed.

J
