Hey guys just thought I'd ask how often you guys/gals handle your royals? How often would you recommend and for how long? :)

Apart from the post-feeding 48hours I handle mine everyday.
Mine certainly appear to enjoy coming out.

Before I got my Royal I read a lot of "care sheets" online and most say that Royals don't like to be handled much / they hate open spaces and don't climb .... Well mine can't be a Royal then lol

He likes being handled and actually comes to me when I open his viv .... Or comes to the glass when he wants out.

He likes going across the living room carpet to chase the dog.

And he's always hanging off of his branch / bark shelf.

So basicly enjoy your snake and get him out as much as you like. They will let you know if they don't want to be handled.

Exactly what fezza says lol obviously only time is 48 hours after feeding. Other than that. Knock ya self out!

Only 1 concern for length of time is if there is a chill in the air they try to snuggle up to take the warmth from you to warm them self up. Make sure your room is not like an igloo

When ever you like and for as long as you like or as long as the snake will tolerate
