Posted - 20/08/2013 : 10:07:25 Sas has been behaving very oddly the last week or so. He has been totally wrecking his viv every night, including unclipping his strip light! While he has done this before, yesterday I found him sleeping on top of his house in the warm end and this morning he was curled up next to his large log, also in the warm end. I have never known him to sleep anywhere other than in either of his houses. Nothing has changed in his set up and his temps are all fine. Thoughts please. |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 11:49:08 Sas quite often sits out in the open of an evening, usually with his head resting on his Habba Hut. It's that Ive never gone in in the morning and found him curled up outside before. He is always in his house. |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 11:35:00 there's nothing wrong with them sitting out in the open. in my opinion that's a good thing. its a good way to observe them without disturbing them. |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 11:24:29 I had to use telephone wire clips to stop Sas trying to strangle himself in the wires! He is in a 3x2x2 viv so size isnt the problem. Ive also caught him wrapped around the bulb guard! Needless to say he fell off! |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 11:04:14 I dunno how to upload a pic but mine ripped down the strip light cables as well and was hanging from them when I cane home. Could he need a bigger viv? |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 10:46:31 He has literally moved everything around in his viv, even the heavy stuff! The strip light in held in place with metal clips and is quite hard to put back! It's the sleeping 'outdoors' that concerns me though. He has never done it before. |

Posted - 20/08/2013 : 10:42:54 My king has been doing exactly the same thing! I moved him into a viv from a rub and he's settled down. Shame though as it was nice to have an active snake for a change! |
