Posted - 26/09/2013 : 06:49:05 boomslang is right on. 2 hides - 2 temperature ranges. Then the snake doesn't have to choose between temperature and security. You can tape the heat mat to the underside of the rub using aluminum tape and putting spacers (like CD cases) under the rub to guarantee proper airflow but it is not necessary. It is actually better to just sit the heat mat on the shelf, put spacers around it and sit the rub right on top of it. This way, you can easily lift the rub and stick it under the faucet to wash off without having to worry about the heat mat. Hope this helps. |

Posted - 07/09/2013 : 15:22:07 You want two hides really,If you can fit two in ofc.As for the heatmat, place it on a flat surface under the rub so there's a small gap between it and and rub.Don't tape it to the bottom of the rub,You can use a sheet of polystyrene under the mat if you wish :)
Replace the analogue thermometer with a digital one. |
