Every night at around 7pm Sas starts slithering about, goes up and down the glass endlessly and hangs through the wire of his light. How does he know the time? And what exactly is he trying to achieve? I wish I could get into the mind of a snake! He tears big holes in his kitchen roll and moves everything in his viv round.
Also he hasnt eaten since 9th August. Not a long time in the world of Royals I know. Ive offered regularly but he just rolls over the rats as if they arent there!
The shop I use told me to lower his temps as he is probably er, wanting the ladies! Ive tried that but no change.
Maybe he is just off his trolley!

Mine have no fixed place to go, just wherever they happen to be! Sas is still mooching about on top of his hide. Had to put the light back as usual. Not interested in food, pushed past the rat to get out. All he seems to want to do is come out.

I wish Duke would do that. He hides them, in hides or pushed under the substrate and foliage.

Mine never drops his guts in his hide. He always makes the trip to the cold end first. normally in the back corner where its hardest to reach

Duke is out at the moment. This is not normal behaviour but tells me one thing. He's pooped in the hide he wants to be in, rather than go inside he will wrap around it instead.

I just got in from work & he was in the corner on top of his hide. He saw me & is now periscoping the glass! Little bugger!

Sounds fairly standard to me. Mine comes out bang on 9pm every night and surfs the glass for ages, taking breaks to go up his "tree". He eventually goes back into his hide to sleep for another 22 hours.

He's been doing it for a few weeks though and no signs of a shed :(. Every morning I have to clip his light back in!

They can be quite adventurous. Especially when they're about to shed - they slither about rubbing on anything!

he has a strip light, it goes on when I get up and off when I go to bed. He actually just fell head first into his water bowl! Dont know who was more shocked, him or me! lol
