Hi,

This might be a silly question...

I've got my temperature/thermometer probe on top of the hot end hides. They read 90-92f. But I've just bought an infrared laser type thermometer and checked the temps under the hides and they're obviously lower.

Should the temps under the hot hides be 90-92f?

Silly question?

Thanks Richard.

Will do.

Yeah makes sense, you best off placing both thermometer and thermostat prob ground level under the heat light. My hide is just under the heat bulb and the probes are just next to it directly under the bulb.

Hey Richard, thanks for the reply.

I'm using a heat bulb, not ceramic.

The probe is on top of the hide and that's where I'm getting the 90-92f from.

Make sense?

What are you using to heat the viv ? I have the the probes under the heat bulb outside the hide and am getting 32c the temp you said is what you are looking for so I think that should be fine, what is the temps outside of the hide.
